Triglav, Slovenia

This is the only national park in Slovenia. It is staggeringly beautiful and so demands special treatment. Countless natural and cultural features are dotted around the diverse karstic mountain terrain with its picturesque mountain peaks and valleys, and there is ample opportunity for activities in the natural environment and for active leisure time.

It is the biggest protected area in the country, and has the status of a special protected area, which is stricter than in other landscape parks in Slovenia.
